Informing Action Through Research
Our original research program connects academics, NGOs, communities and other collaborators to study issues related to evidence and policy to discover solutions that address policy challenges.
Our case study explores the events from 2006 to the present to understand what worked and highlight what other jurisdictions may be able to learn and apply from how this was accomplished. This case study can be adapted into a workshop on grassroots organizing, for organizations in Canada and beyond. Participants in these workshops will also receive a companion resource, The Evidence Playbook, that outlines practical skills to build public and political demand for evidence-informed policy.
