Volunteer with Evidence for Democracy

Want to use your skills to support science, evidence, and democracy in Canada?

E4D volunteers contribute to meaningful projects year-round. Volunteers can choose from short-term opportunities that match their interests, skills, and availability.

Opportunities may include:

  • supporting research projects;
  • writing or editing reports and other content;
  • communications and social media;
  • monitoring news, parliamentary committees, or government activity;
  • contributing to government relations and policy work;
  • helping with outreach, events, and campaigns; and
  • other projects that support E4D’s mission.

How it works

  1. Join our volunteer community
    Sign up and tell us a little about your interests and skills.
  2. Receive volunteer opportunities
    We’ll share new opportunities with our volunteer community throughout the year.
  3. Choose what works for you
    Each opportunity will include a project description, expected time commitment, timeline, and any skills or experience that may be helpful.
  4. Get involved
    Put your skills to work on projects that help strengthen the role of evidence in Canadian decision-making.

You are not expected to participate in every opportunity. You can get involved when a project fits your interests and availability.

Join E4D’s Volunteer Community

By joining our volunteer community, you’ll receive opportunities as they become available and can choose which ones fit your interests, skills, and availability.
