Dr. Diane Orihel - Visiting scholar at the University of Winnipeg and former Experimental Lakes Area advocate

Dr. Ted Hsu - Liberal MP for Kingston and the Islands (and the only MP with a PhD in the natural sciences!)

Aqsa Malik

West Coast Organizer

Aqsa Malik joined Evidence for Democracy as B.C. Organizer and Volunteer Coordinator in August 2014. She has considerable experience with science advocacy organizations including 3 years as Project Coordinator with the award-winning not-for-profit organization, Let’s Talk Science. She is a PhD candidate in Neuroscience at the University of British Columbia, where she also teaches Cell Biology.
