Take action to show that Canadians care about science and smart decision-making.

Across the country, Canadians are working to make sure that public-interest science and smart decision-making get the attention they deserve during this federal election campaign.

At Evidence for Democracy, we take a broad view of science, one that includes a variety of means of establishing and testing knowledge. We promote the use of evidence in government decision-making with the conviction that this will lead to decisions that serve the public interest. And we understand that good decisions rely on input from both the natural and social sciences.

A question about science policy has never been asked at a federal leaders’ debate. Now more than ever that has to change.
