Today marks 100 days since I joined E4D as Executive Director.
These 100 days have been non-stop, packed with sharing new research reports, bringing our community timely insights on developments in the science-policy space in Canada, sharing new training toolkits and webinars, and meeting with federal representatives to lay the groundwork for an impactful year ahead.
To mark the occasion and in the spirit of New Zealand Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez à la 2019, we prepared a video update – “100 days in 2 minutes or less”. Check it out!
Next on the agenda: developing new resources for scientists and researchers to navigate and prepare for Parliamentary committees and revisiting Canada’s Fundamental Science Review.
The support of this community is what makes this impact possible, and what will keep this momentum going. We’ve got less than 3 months until the House returns, so the clock is ticking as we prepare to enshrine the lessons of the past year into Canadian decision-making – with evidence at the forefront.

Here’s to the next 100 days!
